Boy Smells

Picked this up for some detailed woodworking and I’m genuinely impressed—the glass lens is crystal clear with zero distortion, making it easy to see tiny markings. The magnification is strong enough for close inspections without feeling like I’m squinting, and it’s surprisingly lightweight for its size.

The grip on this magnum feels substantial and secure, even with cold hands. I’ve been using it daily for a week and it’s significantly smoother than my old one.

I was shocked at how well-balanced this feels in the hand—the weight distribution is perfect for extended use. The finish on the barrel is smooth and doesn’t slip even with sweaty palms. Definitely worth the upgrade from my old tool.

Went from a standard model to this and the extra length makes a huge difference when I’m working with larger cuts of timber. Locks up tight and feels solid in the hand, no wobble at all.

The grip is noticeably wider than my last one, which makes it feel more secure in hand. Assembly took me about 15 minutes, and I like that the finish doesn’t show fingerprints as much as I expected.

The Magnum is decent for heavy removal but the handle started to feel slippery after about 30 minutes of work. It clears stock quickly, though I wish the grain was a bit tighter for finer finishing.
